Summary

PMsquare’s IBM Planning Analytics Data App has been built to show the value Incorta can provide in the planning process. Incorta can be used as a centralized data hub that consolidates data from multiple data sources to provide a fast and streamlined data source from which IBM Planning Analytics can pull data. Once the planning process has completed, the resulting plan data can be retrieved by Incorta for use in visualizations. The result is a data pipeline that provides users with the ability to drill from plan data down to the most granular actuals data from their source systems, all within the Incorta platform.

This Data App will show you how to establish a connection from IBM Planning Analytics to Incorta via the SQLi connector, as well as how to connect Incorta to IBM Planning Analytics to retrieve data via the REST API. An extensible data pipeline will allow you to more effectively address common planning scenarios like these:

• The planning process for most business areas will require data from multiple ERP systems, databases, business applications, or flat files. With Incorta, those data sources can be loaded into a single staging area and prepped for consumption by IBM Planning Analytics.
